My name is Asianna Junge, and I'm super excited to share my candidacy for the position of External Vice President (EVP) of the Student Association (SA)! I further developed my passion for student advocacy and leadership while serving as the Baker College New Student Representative and gaining insight from the previous EVP while shadowing her in both the Fall and current Spring semesters. I am particularly passionate about increasing transparency to the student body and finding ways to enhance student engagement. My vision includes implementing regular town hall meetings, where students can openly express their concerns and ideas, ensuring that their voices are heard. I also aim to explore avenues to simplify information and enhance accessibility to ongoing initiatives and improvements spearheaded by
the Student Association.

As EVP, my goal would be to smoothly facilitate communication between college senators, university administration, and the Senate while providing a diverse perspective to the Student Association Executive Board. I am committed to transparency, accountability, and accessibility in the Student Association. I am incredibly grateful for the experiences I've gained so far, and I am eager to bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas.
